One endpoint returns a smaller page than your plan allows: teaming partner search caps at 50 results, because it returns contact data.
One key calls everything in its plan's column. Each row's endpoints, and the fields Pro adds to a record, are on Capabilities, and how each workflow works is on Workflows.
Free trial
- Your key arrives by email at the address you sign up with, and there is no dashboard to log into.
- We email you two to three days before the trial ends. When it ends, the key stops working and nothing is charged.
- Once a trial has ended, the same email address cannot start another. Addresses that differ only by a +tag count as one address.
- Subscribe with the email you signed up with while the trial is running, and the same key carries on under the paid plan.
Questions
What counts as a request?
Each API call is one request, a search or a single-record lookup alike, however many results it returns. MCP tool calls are requests on your key, under the same limits.
When does my limit reset?
Requests are counted in fixed windows: 60 minutes on Developer and Pro, 24 hours on the free trial. A window
opens with your first request, and when it closes the count starts again from zero.
GET /api/v1/me returns your plan and the requests you have left, and responses to your key
carry X-RateLimit-Limit and X-RateLimit-Remaining headers.
Why do I get a 429 before I reach my limit?
The burst cap runs alongside your plan's limit, so that one tight loop cannot slow the API for everyone else.
A loop can reach it while your plan's count still has room. Space your calls out, or wait a minute after a
429 and continue. The Retry-After header a 429 carries, and how to back off, are in the
API guide.
What happens when a request goes beyond my plan?
The API answers with HTTP 402 and a message saying what the request needs: a paid plan, the Pro plan or a smaller page. Asking for more results than your plan allows returns a 402, never a shorter page. The fields Pro adds to a record are the one case without a 402: other plans get the record without them.
How far back can I search?
On Developer and Pro, a search reaches back as far as the dataset is served, and Data shows where each one begins. A lookup by ID is never limited by date on any plan, the free trial included. How the search window appears in a response is in the API guide.
Can I switch between Developer and Pro?
Yes. Change it in Manage billing, where Stripe invoices the prorated difference straight away. Subscribing to the other plan here with the same email switches the same subscription instead of starting a second one, and puts the prorated difference on your next invoice. Either way the new plan applies at once and your key stays the same.
How do I cancel?
In Manage billing, or by emailing [email protected]. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for, and then your key stops working. The billing terms are in the Terms of Service.
Can I change the email on my account?
Your email identifies both your key and your billing, so email [email protected] and we will move your key, plan and subscription to the new address.
Do you take on custom work?
